Large rescue mission underway after witnesses spot person in Detroit River

Rescue crews are out in full force Thursday morning along the Detroit River after reports of a person in the water.

00:09into the Detroit River here, but this is, it looks like it was at water.

00:18And then he apparently drifted, this is Beaubien, right by the red sand, but because of the

00:25current of the Detroit River, the chief just told me that he could be in Monroe right now.

00:38to find this guy.

00:39Don't know much about him, if he's from Canada or the United States, but it doesn't look

00:43good.

00:44He's been in the water too long and the current is too much.
