00:00The final score is amazing. When I look at the final score, I see engineering,
00:08craftsmanship, and detail.
00:13The perfect score was a three-time Lowrider Magazine show winner. And on
00:19our third title, Coming Home, we were cut off and we got swiped over onto the
00:27embankment and the car was totaled. All the club members came over and they all
00:32said, Chris, you need to come out and do something to honour the perfect score.
00:37Out of the ashes of tragedy came a new Lowrider, destined to make history.
00:42That's when the final score was born, in honour of the perfect score. My car's
00:48name is the final score. It is a 58 Impala Chevrolet. When I look at the final
00:59score, I see engineering, craftsmanship, and detail. For all of the fame of his
01:08original Lowrider, Chris's fans weren't immediately approving of his new build.
01:13A lot of people didn't take fair to it when it first came out. They were like,
01:21what is this? This doesn't look good. What are the colours they're mixing? But a
01:28couple of years had went by and now you start to see a lot of people starting to
01:32entertain all these different colours. This impressive Lowrider is customised
01:37in every way possible.
01:43So we got right here a custom mural. We have our car club plaque here fully
01:48engraved. So as we go through the car we'll make our way to the interior now.
01:54Door handles were shaved so we have pop doors. Ostrich skin in here with our
02:00custom logo engraved in the badges. Custom steering wheel here with the
02:05custom machined Impala emblem and flags. All our knobs match and they're all gold
02:10leaf. Custom floor mats if you look and the custom pet gas pedals and speaker
02:15covers. Dakota digital dash which was, what was that, a custom piece I believe.
02:22Even the motor was customised. The motor of the final score is an LS1 that came
02:32out of a mid-80s Corvette.
02:38The whole engine's engraved to match, painted to match, pinstripe, everything
02:46matches the rest of the car. There's so much custom parts on this I want to say
02:51what were we up to last time when we counted like probably close to 600
02:55custom machined parts in this car alone. Top speed easily probably 120 mph.
03:03Having left behind the shadow of the perfect score, this lowrider now has no
03:09shortage of fans. This gets everyone's heads turning when it comes out. So you
03:18know if you go into a busy area it's gonna grab a lot of attention.
03:25But with a car called the final score one has to ask is this the final low
03:31rider Chris will build?
03:35When would I ever stop building lowriders? I think I have tried to stop.
03:41It's been tough as you get older you slow down. I have my son and my nephew
03:46that are young guns and they they've been keeping the fire under me to keep
03:51me going. My favorite part of a lowrider is when you can get in it go and drive
03:55put the top down just have fun and they're different they're unique not
04:00everyone likes lowriders but everyone has their own different tastes and I
04:05just like to feel to be behind the wheeler. I like to feel the creation of
04:10building something that's unique like this.
