00:00What do you think about the importance of women's empowerment?
00:04Financial education is a central element for a full-fledged exercise in citizenship.
00:09So, if we look at areas of our population that tend to remain on the margins,
00:18it becomes fundamental to value women's financial empowerment initiatives.
00:25That is why, with the Women's Edufin Index Award,
00:28which we have presented today,
00:31we wanted to award three equal-merit realities
00:34for their capacity for social innovation,
00:37for putting their initiatives of women's financial empowerment at the center
00:43and also for the impact they have had.
00:46So, in a way, our ecosystem is enriched,
00:51in addition to the rich partnership of public and private realities
00:55that revolve around Edufin,
00:57with the third sector,
00:59which is an extraordinary engine of social cohesion
01:01that we cannot do without to transform this country.
01:04The fact that there is a provision of law
01:08that provides for the opening of a personal bank account
01:11on which to credit the salary and so on,
01:14is a measure that in other countries,
01:17such as France, which was recently introduced,
01:19has undoubtedly shown positive results
01:22in terms of gender equality and financial autonomy.
01:25So, the road is clear.
01:27We do it with pensions,
01:28and we must do it also when we talk about new employment relations.
