00:00We went to try out the latest sandwich shop to hit Yorkshire. This place Subs

00:06and Suds doesn't just sell sandwiches it sells slices of New York style pizza as

00:12well as fries, mac and cheese and onion rings. Let's try it out.

00:20Subs and Suds is based on Cross Street in Wakefield City Centre. It's even got a

00:27range of craft beers, cocktails to put in your pocket as well as retro arcade

00:34games to play on. We grabbed a pizza by the slice as well as two subs. I had

00:42vegan meatball subs and a salad. Sandwiches are big business and yes you

00:49might have thought it was the death of sandwiches with sushi sales rising all

00:54over the place when it comes to lunch time but I'm talking about independent

00:57sandwich shops.

01:07So I just challenged Vic how to eat the slop and now see I'm weird and I know

01:13I'm gonna kill like my husband who would go like that which is quite hard but I've

01:20got vegetarian teeth they're still crinkling. But I'm weird I break

01:24everything because I'm a picker. I'm a snacker so this would last me all day

01:28because I'd be picking away and it smells so good.

01:36Oh my god the vegan cheese is like I don't know I like vegan cheese I think

01:42you either have the real thing or you don't have it. That is amazing and that

01:48vegan meat with the marinara sauce it's all homemade even the bread's gorgeous

01:54and crispy. Oh my gosh I actually think I've gone to like vegan heaven. This is like

02:02actually don't bother going out on a night out and coming here after. Just come

02:08here and save your money and just keep coming here. Just like come here for lunch

02:12come here for tea, come here for breakfast. This is so nice.

02:22The key question Vic is how do you actually eat a sub yourself? With

02:28difficulty there's too much in this so I don't know kind of nibble at the edge and try and get some meatball in there I think.
