00:06The Department of Education, Bicol, has already started the cleaning and rehabilitation of the schools affected by the Christine earthquake.
00:14According to the DepEd Bicol Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Coordinator, Deo Moreno,
00:21the agency invested Php 105 million for the repair of the damaged schools in Albay and Camarena Sur.
00:30The program includes the construction of temporary learning spaces and temporary wash and water or sanitation and hygiene facilities.
00:40According to the DepEd Bicol DRRM, 500 schools were affected by the floods and landslides in the Bicol region.
00:49Residents in Santa Ana, Cagayan, and Caugnay are preparing for the upcoming Christine earthquake.
00:56The boats are going up one by one due to the storm surge.
01:02According to a resident, the Palawig River may suddenly grow and the Babuyan Channel may collapse.
01:09Although there will be no landfall, there will be wind and rain.
01:13The Christine earthquake was the first to order the government to conduct a mandatory evacuation of residents in high-risk areas.
01:21We are also monitoring the situation because there are reports of minor storm surges.
