00:00A lot of things are planned for the day 2 of the International Conference on Women, Peace, and Security today.

00:14Rise and shine, Audrey. After the high-level segment yesterday,

00:19on the second day of the International Conference on Women, Peace, and Security,

00:24Delegates will meet in a thematic discussion here at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.

00:33Three sessions of the thematic discussion will be held by delegates from almost 80 countries.

00:39For the first session, we will discuss the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda

00:43that will increase the participation of women in the peace process.

00:47We will discuss strategies to maintain the engagement of women in the implementation of the Peace and Security.

00:54For the second session of the thematic discussion,

00:57we will discuss the effective implementation of the National Action Plans for the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda.

01:03For the third session, we will discuss the appropriate funds for the effective implementation of the said Agenda.

01:12In the exclusive interview of PTV,

01:14some foreign ministers and peacemakers also shared the strength of women's determination

01:20for their National Action Plans for the said Agenda.

01:25In Mali, we have developed a fruitful partnership between the public and private sectors,

01:33as well as women's empowerment partners and community stakeholders to support women's empowerment projects.

01:45After the thematic discussion, there will be a parliamentary roundtable

01:50where delegates will exchange their ideas

01:53to discuss how to strengthen the legislative support for the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda.
