00:00Officials from the Philippines, Japan, and the U.S. met to discuss countering economic coercion and strengthening their economies.

00:07They aim to enhance cooperation and resilience against economic pressure,

00:11following a joint statement made at their Japan-U.S.-Philippines April Summit.

00:16Participants expressed strong opposition to economic coercion

00:19and committed to raising awareness and improving their response to such challenges.

00:24The meeting was co-chaired by Corazon Halili de Chosa from the Philippines

00:27with Jonathan Fritz from the U.S. and Chichiro Mochizuki from Japan.
