00:08When it comes to stories about cemeteries,

00:10There's a ghost, something like that.

00:13But what if the cemetery you went to is like this?

00:17This is the Nambaran Artistic Cemetery in Tabukalinga.

00:20The cemetery is unique because of the statues.

00:22There are real figures.

00:24There are carrots, airplanes, guitars, trucks, cars,

00:28and many other things.

00:30But each statue has its own story later on,

00:33like this one, by Vicente Aguiao.

00:36When he was still alive,

00:38he buried his relics

00:40in his drinking wells.

00:43So when he died and was taken to his cemetery,

00:47he was buried here,

00:49in a four-cornered cemetery.

00:52To make it more chill,

00:54Dillinger has been a supporter here for 8 years.

00:57He has designed many statues.

00:59Today, he's designing a motorcycle.

01:17This is just one of the 20 unique statues of Nambaran Cemetery,

01:20which was first opened in 1986.

01:22But in 2000,

01:24the unique designs started,

01:26and according to the City Tourism Office,

01:28it's not just a display.

01:29The statues remind us of dreams,

01:32determination,

01:33and principles that were built later on.

01:35Culturally,

01:36so that we won't forget,

01:38for example,

01:39in our artistic cemetery,

01:42when people ask,

01:44why did it become shoes?

01:49It became part of them,

01:51that there are unfulfilled desires,

01:54fulfilled by our children.

01:59And then, for me,
