Senator Risa Hontiveros asks former President Rodrigo Duterte if he’ll take responsibility for the death of Kian Delos Santos and other victims of the war on drugs.
Sen. Risa also questions the statement of former President Rodrigo Duterte from a Reuters interview back in 2021, wherein he said “If there is any person who is going to prison, it would be me, I assume full responsibility.”
"Do you assume responsibility for the death of Kian Delos Santos?" she asked directly.
"No,” Duterte replied.
Hontiveros persisted. "How about Carl Anthony Nunez?"
Duterte responded, "Before you ramble on those things..."
"No, I’m not rambling; my questions are very specific—" Hontiveros countered.
Duterte stated, “Hindi, specific ang law. Guilt is personal."
