00:12You know it just you got to go out there and execute your pitches and you got to get them

00:17out in the zone and you know you just got to keep making pitch after pitch after pitch

00:22and not you know not really give in and just continue to execute continue to go one pitch

00:27after another and not you know you don't really group them all together each pitch

00:31you got to you got to take it one pitch at a time and then you know once that one's done

00:35you move on to the next one and then move on to the next one so the more that you can

00:39slow things down and the more that you can you can truly focus on the process of each

00:44and every pitch and and what's going on I think the better better spot you end up being

00:49in.

00:50All right so let me first say that Flaherty expected to get the fourth highest free agency

00:55deal for a pitcher in the offseason according to SportTrack Burns six years 180 million

01:01allegedly Snell five for 131 free chicken six for 136 Flaherty three years 60 million

01:08Bieber six for 147 Yovaldi two for 48 million and Kikuchi one for 15 million now listen

01:16I don't believe any of that but I'll say this I am not afraid of this guy tonight this guy

01:23is doable.

01:25I think the Yankees can hit Flaherty I'm more worried about Yamamoto I'm more worried

01:31about Bueller if there's anyone that this lineup can hit it's Jack Flaherty I mean this

01:37is not Whitey Ford they're facing here folks let's not kid ourselves I think he's decent

01:44there's no doubt he's got talent but he's no Garrett Cole.

01:49Here's the deal though Scott a lot of these guys small sample size some of the Yankee

01:52big bats haven't hit Flaherty but I will say this and the last time you watched him

01:56pitch he looked like he had dead arm this break has been great for Flaherty I know the

02:00Yankees probably wanted to play this game two days earlier but they can hit him I think

02:05they I think actually you know the Dodgers can hit Cole as well usually has one bad inning

02:09we'll see what happens California guys Cole's Cole went to UCLA should be a lot of fun buddy

02:14maybe there's more runs in this game than we anticipate even though most of the time

02:18the World Series games tend to go under the number I like runs tonight I just wanted to

02:23say that I wanted to sleep with the entire UCLA cheerleading squad wait a minute mafia

02:35with the Bruin cheerleaders here we go I think the challenge is is is you know trying to

02:42just be convicted to every pitch you know you're not really sure what the opposition's

02:46going to do and you know that they're lethal when they do swing so you know you gotta you

02:52got to give every pitch a chance you know by you know by fully committing to it and

02:58you know so be it if if if the ball gets hit hopefully you take those situations and you

03:03learn from them just like you do when you have success listen I have heard all I can

03:08take about Juan Soto leaving the Yankees in free agency I've determined that if he leaves

03:13he should be castrated I had tell you Scotty I don't I don't know what's gonna happen with

03:20the series I know I got a question actually just just quickly um so Mets Mets fans Yankees

03:25fans New York does Mets fan would they cheer for the Yankees or the Dodgers they will not

03:30cheer for the Yankees I can hear them they're very they're very set in their ways but they're

03:36not gonna I doubt they're gonna root for the Dodgers I think they're actually not

03:42they don't they don't want anything to do with it interesting okay no I just wanted to know so

03:48they hate it they hate them both like for me as a Jays guy like you know the Yankees are our

03:52division I'm not even a Dodger fan I just want my bets to win so should be a great little series

03:56though I think they stay off of it and you know it is what it is I actually respect Mets team and

04:04I hate the Mets my entire life like no other great I hate the Red Sox in the Mets and I've

04:10hated the Mets they tortured the Pirates my whole life and I can't stand it but I respected that

04:14team this year because I thought they were really tough and they were fantastic to watch they were

04:19fun to watch I just pretended like they weren't the Mets I just thought they were a really good

04:23baseball team that was enjoyable to watch every day win games and play tough in a way they got

04:30into the playoffs and the way they performed in the in the eighth and ninth innings of playoff

04:34games was absurd so I thought they were a blast Garrett Cole is one of only four pitchers in

04:40postseason history to have a sub-3 ERA in over 20 playoff starts the last time Cole pitched at

04:47Dodger Stadium six innings four hits one earned run five strikeouts two walks so who you taking

04:55in game one I'm taking the over and I'm taking the Dodgers I think we got runs I know nine seems

05:01really high I know Scott yeah I'm going on the Giants like this our relationship and never have

05:07the Prime Minister on again relations with Canada and Ontario are dead you've had enough me Gabe the

05:16horse guy I know anyway I don't like the Dodgers though I don't like the Dodgers I want to win

05:22money I'm taking I'm taking them in the series I'm taking them tonight with the over Kurt hates me too

05:26because he's a Yankee fan and I'm on with him later tonight
