00:08He's like some kind of special consultant on the defensive side of the ball here.

00:17You know, you guys, we've been close for a really long time.

00:20We were roommates together back at Central Michigan.

00:23So you know, we thought it was a good idea just to bring him back, bring him here.

00:29And he's helping us on the offensive side of the ball.

00:32I think that's always a good deal to have that perspective, you know, that defensive

00:37perspective on that side of the ball.

00:39So just taking a look at some of the things we're doing.

00:43I'd say it's pretty fluid.

00:46Will he be here most days, most weeks, the rest of the year?

00:53You know, I think it's important to him to spend time, obviously, with his family.

01:23And it's funny, Ulbricht, the guy that took over the job, he was the defensive coordinator.

01:29I don't even know.

01:30I know a lot of people, Dane, have said to me that they think the Jets made a big mistake

01:34by firing him when they did.

01:36And I don't know if I agree or disagree, because all I know is they lose every week.

01:40Listen, I got to tell you, I just think he was really a scapegoat there.

01:43I don't know if Aaron Rodgers had anything to do with it or not.

01:47But you know, there's excuses that could be made.

01:49And it wasn't the offense that was the problem for the Jets.

01:52And it was very rare to see a team, you know, after five weeks kind of move on from the

01:57coach like that.

01:58I personally think he got a raw deal.

02:01The Jets have something like a fourth or fifth easiest schedule the rest of the way.

02:05And it seems like every week, whether it's Devontae Adams, they're going to get Hassan

02:07Redick back, new offensive coordinator.

02:10It gives me hope as a Jets fan.

02:12But then I see them play, and it's like that godfather.

02:14You know, every time I think I'm out, they try to pull me back in.

02:18I don't know if I'm going to believe it anymore.

02:20They see the Patriots this week.
