00:08but also secure confirmation of earlier testimonies from previous resource speakers.

00:18will prove useful for other government offices that will further probe the matter.

00:26The House Quad Committee was satisfied with the results of their 9th hearing yesterday,

00:32which lasted until 2 in the morning today.

00:35One of the most important revelations that emerged during the probe

00:39was the confirmation by former NAPLCOM Commissioner Edilberto Leonardo

00:43of the statement made by former PCSO General Manager and retired Police Colonel Ruyina Garma

00:49regarding the reward system in former President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs.

00:59na nabasa mo at napakingan mo,

01:03yan ba ay pinapaniwulaan mo?

01:16According to Quadcom Lead Chair Robert Ace Barbers and Co-Chair Bienvenido Abante, Jr.,

01:21they can use Leonardo's confirmation of Garma's testimony in their committee report,

01:26which may also be used by other government agencies for further investigations.

01:31It has been established that actually there's a reward system.

01:36Hindi na pwedeng iyan itangihan pa ng previous administration.

01:41Kanyang pag-amin sa Quadcom will be placed on the records.

01:46In this record that we will use as basis in writing our committee report,

01:54isasama namin yan.

01:56Pag pumasok ito sa mga concerned agencies like DOJ,

02:00DOJ should do a more comprehensive, maybe preliminary investigation sa kanya.

02:07In addition to her first testimony,

02:09Garma also submitted a supplemental affidavit confirming the alleged existence of the Davo Death Squad,

02:15which was also linked to former President Duterte.

02:18Garma also revealed she had a conversation with Duterte last Thursday.

02:22Even though she is detained at the Batasang Pambansa,

02:25she is still allowed to use her cell phone.

03:02Garma admitted she apologized to the former President for her reversal.

03:06However, she clarified that Duterte did not stop her from speaking before the Quad Committee.

03:15Actually, nag-sorry po ako.

03:18Yes, I said I'm sorry.

03:45It was supposed to be the former President's opportunity to appear and explain his side before the Quad Committee yesterday.

03:52But he did not attend.

03:54According to the Quad Committee leaders, they have not yet decided on what actions to take regarding Duterte's absence.
