00:14Venezuela for the signing of this document, in which the importance of this union of information

00:19platforms was emphasised.

00:21Ñáñez confirmed that this alliance between BRICS media platforms and the Venezuelan state

00:26television will bring greater cultural and informative diversity and is also an opportunity

00:31to analyse and inform about the reality of the peoples of the Global South.

00:36In 2023, the multistate broadcaster Telesur signed a cooperation agreement with the international

00:42media network of the BRICS countries that allows it to continue working on the expansion

00:47of its network of associated media in Latin America.

00:56We, the countries of the South, as Mario Benedetti said, not only exist, but we also

01:04have much to contribute to a new world order, to a new globality.

01:09As President Chávez and President Nicolás Maduro have stated, wherever there is an expression

01:16of multiculturalism, an expression of difference, of harmony among the alternatives that exist

01:24in the field of politics, economy and culture in the world, a multipolar world, a world

01:31that we have been building not only in every international forum, but in practice.
