00:06Today, we're focusing on a classic yoga pose that's perfect for stretching and strengthening,
00:12the Triangle Pose, also known as Trichonasana.
00:15Let's start by stepping your feet about 3-4 feet apart.
00:19Turn your right foot out at a 90-degree angle, and slightly angle your left foot inward.
00:25Now, stretch your arms out to the sides, keeping them parallel to the floor.
00:29On an inhale, lengthen your torso and, as you exhale, extend your right arm forward,
00:34reaching towards your right foot.
00:36Then, tilt your torso and bring your right hand down to either your shin, ankle, or the
00:41floor, whatever feels comfortable for you.
00:44Remember, the goal is to open the chest, not to overextend.
00:48Now, look up at your left hand, making sure your neck is comfortable.
00:53Keep your body aligned, and feel the stretch along your side body, hamstrings, and hips.
01:00Engage your core muscles to maintain balance.
01:02Take deep, even breaths here.
01:05Each inhale creates space in the body, and each exhale allows you to deepen the stretch.
01:11Triangle Pose is excellent for improving flexibility in the hips and legs, strengthening the legs,
01:16and opening the chest and shoulders.
01:18To come out of the pose, engage your core, press firmly through your feet, and inhale
01:23as you slowly rise back up to standing with your arms extended.
01:27Then, exhale and lower your arms.
01:30Now, let's repeat the same movements on the other side.
01:34Turn your left foot out, angle your right foot slightly inward, and follow the same steps.
01:40Remember to move mindfully and listen to your body, that's it.
01:45The triangle pose is not only a fantastic stretch, but also great for improving your
01:49posture and alignment.
01:52Do this regularly, and you'll feel more balanced and energized in your daily life.
