The National Social Policy 2030 has been launched to address various social issues with the support of other ministries, says Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri.  She added that each ministry has been tasked with leading specific issues to help resolve them and expressed hope that this approach will be effective. 00:03This one is a very important document for us to tackle social issues that we have been talking about all the while.

00:14So now, we have certain clusters so that certain ministries can monitor certain issues.

00:26For us, we are more into social issues.

00:29So we hope that this kind of collaboration and cohesion among us will help to reduce the number of cases.

00:40One of the main concerns is that there are a lot of agencies working in silos, so can we ensure that?

00:46This time, one ministry is asked to lead some of the issues with the hope that it will be more effective.
