00:36Agriculture Secretary Francisco Chulaurel, Jr.

00:40announced the Strategic Investment Plan for the sector of beef,

00:44kawayan, mango, and seaweed in the country.

00:47Chulaurel called on foreign investors to invest in the Philippines

00:53and called for cooperation on the modern agri-food system.

00:58He assured that it will result in economic growth,

01:01increased employment, and hope for our farmers.

01:06The FAO is implementing 11 projects in the Philippines

01:11worth $41 million.

01:14It is aimed at building a solid agricultural system

01:19that can withstand the effects of changing times.

01:27met Italian Minister of Agriculture Francesco Lollobrigida

01:31in Rome, Italy,

01:32to celebrate World Food Day.

01:35He discussed the bilateral meeting

01:38on giving jobs to Filipino fishermen.

01:44Filipino skilled workers will be able to help

01:46in the promotion of the fishing industry in Europe.

01:52that the export of tuna, pinea, fish,

02:00will expand with the growth of the Filipino community in Italy.
