00:00We know that our priority in the South China Sea is under the Ministry of Defence.

00:07Three important aspects of our implementation that we give priority are our readiness and our asset modernisation.

00:17We know that the most important process when we face the South China Sea is to see how we can improve the asset modernisation.

00:29Therefore, if we look at the Parliament itself, we talk a lot about asset management.

00:36That is one of the most important things for us.

00:39The second is our operations.

00:41We are not afraid that, as we mentioned earlier about our short of presence,

00:46so we always improve our operations from time to time.

00:50And the third is we strengthen our defence diplomacy.

00:54As Mr. Jelebu said, we did go through the ASEAN Defence Ministerial Meeting.

01:02We said that through ASEAN, we also try to strengthen the cooperation between ASEAN and ADMM+.

01:10So that we know that the issue in the South China Sea is not only related to Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and so on,

01:18but the whole of ASEAN countries are also related to the South China Sea.

01:23Therefore, we also use our ASEAN platform in the coming year as ASEAN Chairman.

01:30So we will take advantage of it to solve some rising issues,

01:34including as Mr. Prime Minister said, how we take advantage of UNPLAUS itself.

01:43Because we know that the most important thing for us in the South China Sea is the process

01:49of how we can continue our economic activities safely for our fishermen.

01:55And at the same time, we know that sea trade is a safe area in the South China Sea for all of our economic activities.
