00:00On this occasion, Abu'l-Hassan, may Allah be pleased with him, said,
00:04O Messenger of Allah!
00:07There are some treaties between us and the Jews.
00:10Now we are breaking them.
00:12It will not happen that you, may Allah be pleased with him,
00:15leave us and come to Mecca.
00:17Hearing this, the Prophet, may Allah be pleased with him, smiled and said,
00:21No, but my blood and your blood are one.
00:24Whomsoever you fight, I will fight him.
00:27Whomsoever you protect, I will protect him.
00:30Then the Prophet, may Allah be pleased with him, separated twelve men from them.
00:34They were from the nine Khazraj and three Aus.
00:36The Prophet said to them,
00:38You are my lifesaver, my protector.
00:41These twelve men included
00:43Sad bin Ubadah, Asad bin Rawaha,
00:45Baraa bin Maroor Abu'l-Hassam,
00:47Ibn At-Tayyahan,
00:48Husaid bin Hujair,
00:49Abdullah bin Amr bin Hazzam,
00:51Ubadah bin Samit,
00:52and Rafia bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him.
00:55Each of them was a representative of his own tribe.
