00:25Constable, in Pakistan, a constable is the lowest rank in the police department, similar to India.

00:31They are involved in primary police duties like patrolling and filing FIR.

00:37HEAD CONSTABLE

00:39A head constable is one rank above a constable and has more responsibilities.

00:45They supervise small police stations or outposts and assist senior officers.

00:53ASSISTANT SUBINSPECTOR

00:55An ASI is an entry-level officer responsible for administrative tasks and investigating minor cases at the police station.

01:08The subinspector's role in Pakistan is similar to that in India.

01:12They investigate crimes and register FIR at a police station or department.

01:19INSPECTOR

01:20An inspector is above a subinspector and is in charge of the entire police station.

01:26They investigate serious crimes and lead the administration of the police station.

01:33DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE DSB

01:35A DSB is also a high-ranking officer in the Pakistan police, overseeing several police stations in their area.

01:42This position is more important in provinces like Punjab and Sindh.

01:49SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE SB

01:51An SB heads the police of a district or city in Pakistan.

01:55They oversee law and order and police operations in their area.

02:01SENIOR SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE SSB

02:03An SSB is the head of law and order in large cities or districts.

02:07This position is one level above SB and oversees major police operations.

02:14DEPUTY INSPECTOR GENERAL DIG

02:16A DIG oversees a large area zone or range.

02:19They supervise several districts or cities' police forces.

02:25INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE IG

02:27IG is the highest rank, heading the police force of an entire province or state.

02:32The IG is responsible for law and order throughout the province.

02:38ADDITIONAL IG ADJ

02:40This rank is below IG, but holds significant authority.

02:44They work on major operations and state-level police management.
