How to create Student, Employee, Business etc ID Card with Dry or E-Signature on it in Photoshop 2023 or in any other version of it

00:00Hi viewers, in this video I am going to show you how you can create a ID card for a student,

00:08employee, business etc. with a drive or electronic signature on it in photoshop.

00:21Welcome to GetInformation and Knowledge YouTube channel.

00:24Let's get started.

00:25Then I will name the document card.

00:42Then the width and height will be in pixels.

00:45The width will be 3000 and the height will be 1700.

00:55Then click on the create button.

00:59After that viewers what you have to do is go to the rectangle tool and then you have

01:10to draw a rectangle at the top.

01:15So first of all I will change the stroke color to golden and I will change the fill color

01:26to dark green.

01:30And then I will draw the rectangle at the top.

01:36You can adjust the width and height according to your needs.

01:43Then I will increase the stroke because it's very less right now.

01:52So this will be perfect.

01:58Then what I will do is reset the workspace essentials because the layers panel was deleted.

02:11What I will do is simply reset the essentials and the layers panel will appear again.

02:17I will simply drag it and drop it here.

02:20Then what I will do is increase the height of the layers panel.

02:30Then I will double click on the rectangle1 text to rename the rectangle.

02:36I will simply rename the rectangle layer as upper rectangle.

02:45And then I will press the enter key.

02:49Now what I will do is select the ellipse tool so that you can place your logo here.

03:04So this is the space I'm drawing roughly a circle.

03:08So it depends your logo is of which shape.

03:13You can place it here.

03:17Then you can place the text for your company or institute here.

03:29Make sure that the size is of 100 and the color is white of the text.

03:45Then you can adjust the position of the text according to your choice.

03:55Then I will rename the ellipse as logo and then I will create a new layer and again use

04:07the rectangle tool to place a rectangle for placing the image there.

04:16So make sure that the rectangle borders are curved.

04:24Then I will change the fill color of the rectangle from dark green to white and the stroke color

04:33to black.

04:36Then I will adjust the stroke of the rectangle to 8.28.

04:48Then I will rename the rectangle1 layer as pic.pg.

04:56Then I will drag and drop my image in photoshop.

05:05After that I will click on the comment text and then click on the remove background button

05:16to remove the background of the image.

05:22You can also remove the background using the magic wand tool.

05:26You can see this is the magic wand tool.

05:29You can use it to remove the background of the image.

05:34Now I will place the image in the rectangle.

05:39Then I will again use the rectangle tool and draw it here.

05:46Fill color will be dark green and the stroke color will be golden and the size for it will

05:52be 3.15.

05:59Then I will rename the layer as std card name bg.

06:09Now I will place the text on this rectangle.

06:16The text will be student card.

06:20You can type any text which can be identity card, employee card etc.

06:30Now I will adjust the position of the text student card.

06:34Now I will rasterize the layer which is at the back of the student card so that I can

06:42change its width.

06:45Now what I will do is place the text in the circle named logo.

06:57And then adjust the position of the text which will be inside the circle.

07:08Then reverse I will select the pen tool and then I will draw different shapes.

07:26Then I will rename the layer as down corner left rectangle.

07:32Then I will rasterize the layer.

07:38Then I will adjust the position of that shape.

07:43I will draw one more shape and then I will press the shift plus backspace key to change

07:52the fill color of this shape.

07:55You can see now I will select the color from the picture logo which is you can see this

08:04one and then I will press the ok button.

08:08You can see that the whole image has been filled with that color.

08:11Press the CTRL plus Z key to reset it.

08:14But I need to only change the color of the shape fill.

08:19So for that I will again press the shift plus backspace key and I will check the preserve

08:23transparency checkbox and click on the ok button.

08:26You can see that now the fill color has been changed.

08:30Then I will name the shape as yellow down shape.

08:38Then I will double click on this layer and then the layer style will open.

08:44Then I will check the gradient overlay checkbox and then also change the gradient overlay

08:56for the shape which I drawed.

09:06Then I will also check the drop shadow checkbox.

09:11And then I will adjust its distance and spread.

09:20Then viewers I will adjust the height and width of the shape.

09:27And after adjusting it I will place up the down corner left rectangle layer.

09:34Now you can see that the down corner left rectangle layer is above.

09:44Then I will again change the gradient overlay.

09:48I will select the style as angle and then change the angle.

09:55Then I will click on the ok button.

09:59I will then double click on the down corner left rectangle and then change its stroke

10:08size.

10:12Position will be outside.

10:17After that I will adjust the opacity of the shape.

10:27Then I will click on the ok button.

10:34I will then again click on the text tool and then here I will type the text which is signing

10:43authority.

10:53Then I will decrease the size.

11:03Then I will use the line tool and draw the line above the text which is signing authority.

11:13Then I will rename the line as sign line.

11:18Viewers you can see that the line color is not white.

11:23So to change its color what I will do is press the shift plus backspace key.

11:29You can see that as I press it a popup has appeared on which the text shows up which

11:37is could not complete your request because the content of the layer is not directly editable.

11:47So to fix this problem what I will do is right click on the sign line layer and then click

11:52on the rasterize layer text.

12:00Then I will again press the shift plus backspace key.

12:02You can see now I can change the color of the line.

12:07I will simply select content as color and then select the white color and then press

12:13on the ok button and then I will press on the ok button again.

12:20You can see that the color of the line has been changed to white.

12:25Now I will add the text which will be example student name, contact number, course title,

12:37date of issue, expiry etc.

12:55Now I will adjust its size.

13:02You can see that as I click on the comment text and then drag that right signature here

13:13you can see that the background of it is in white color.

13:17So to remove the white color what I will do is click on the remove background button or

13:24I can simply select the magic wand tool and then I will just select that layer.

13:35You can see that this is the right signature layer.

13:38So I will first rasterize this layer and then I will click on this layer here.

13:46Now you can see that the white color has been selected.

13:52So now what I will do is right click and then I will click on select inverse and then

14:05I will click on layer via copy text.

14:12Now you can see that the text has been shown up but its color is black you can see due

14:28to which it can't be seen clearly here.

14:32So I will change its color first of all.

14:34I will press the shift plus x key and then I will select the color for this signature

14:42which will be white and then click on the ok button and now I will drag the signature

14:55here.

14:56Now you can see its color has been changed into white.

15:02So I will adjust its size once again and I will click on the comment button then and

15:13this much is ok.

15:16Now you can see that the signature is successfully added.

15:22So now you can add the name, father name, contact, course name, issue date, expiry date

15:29or other fields if you want.

15:32Now viewers I will show you how you can create the back side for the id card of a student,

15:37employee etc.

15:38So I will name the document card back and then I will enter the width 3000 and height

15:481700.

15:50Then I will click on the create button.

15:55Now viewers I will use the pen tool and keep the fill color as dark green and then I will

16:04draw four points and then I will join them.

16:10You will be able to see a rectangle shape and the fill color is dark green you can see.

16:17I will then brush wise the layer and then adjust its position and its width.

16:27After that viewers I will select the text tool and then I will copy this text from the

16:34notepad and I will paste this text in photoshop.

16:41Then I will change its color to black and I will select the size 72.

16:49I will also then change the font style of this text.

16:53I will select copper black.

16:56I will then again select the text tool and then I will add bullet points.

17:06Viewers I will add bullet points on different layers so total bullet points will be 5 in

17:14my case so the layers will be also 5.

17:18Now I will click on the window and then I will click on claims and now I will find the

17:29bullet point.

17:38Now I will create a group and place the bullet points in it which are total 5.

17:54I have now adjusted their positions.

17:57Like this you can also create front and back side of the id card for a student, employee

18:05etc.
