00:00The Council for the Welfare of Children will continue to strive to create a safe environment for the children.

00:06According to CWC Executive Director Undersecretary Angelo Tapales,

00:12violating the Child Abuse Law, Rape, and Acts of Less Civicness

00:16is the main violence that children are being subjected to for the past 100 years.

00:22The government is already working on other measures

00:25to protect children from any type of abuse,

00:30such as reporting to Makabata Hotline 1383,

00:34implementing the 4th National Plan of Action for Children 2024-2028,

00:40and passing Magna Carta of Children into law.

00:44Meanwhile, the government is also focusing on fighting online sexual abuse.

00:49Ms. Tapales said that the protection of children should start inside the home.
