00:09Yeah.

00:09I mean, for me, it is heartbreaking.

00:11Gypsy Rose Blanchard is reflecting on her first child

00:15that is on the way and what their relationship could have

00:17been like with her mother.

00:19Gypsy Rose served seven years in prison

00:21for conspiring to murder her mother, Claudine Dede Blanchard,

00:25who is believed to have had Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

00:29On a recent episode of The Vile Files,

00:31Gypsy Rose expresses regret and sadness

00:34about the fact that her daughter won't

00:36get to meet her grandmother.

00:38For me, it is heartbreaking because I do, from time

00:42to time, think about what could have been.

00:46And it makes me sad.

00:49So I kind of put that in the back of my mind.

00:52And so, I mean, there has been questions on social media.

00:55Everybody asks the question, what

00:58are you going to tell your daughter whenever

00:59grandma isn't around?

01:01And I said, my response to them is

01:04that Christy has become more of a mother to me

01:07than my own mother was.

01:09So Christy is going to be grandma.

01:12And so that question really won't be a pest in our face.

01:19Christy Blanchard is her stepmother.

01:21The 33-year-old is expecting her daughter

01:23with boyfriend Ken Urker.

01:24On the podcast, she detailed how their romance

01:27rekindled after she divorced her ex, Ryan Anderson.

01:31I had to make a choice for the heart.

01:33And so that is when I'm like, OK,

01:37I realize where my heart is.

01:38I don't want to stay with someone

01:40just because they're happy.

01:42I need to be happy too.

01:44And I think the selfish thing would

01:46have been to stay in a relationship

01:50and not let Ryan move on.

01:53So I ended the marriage, filed for divorce.

01:57And then that's when Ken and I reconnected after the fact.

02:02As friends, we had a weekend together

02:04to see kind of where are we with this.

02:07It was our first time actually having

02:09any outside of prison time.

02:12And we realized that that flame, that love, everything

02:15is still there.

02:17And so he came back to visit a month later.

02:20And that's essentially the weekend that we got pregnant.

02:24Yes.

02:24Gypsy Rose also shared how she's been

02:27doing with her first pregnancy.

02:29I'm doing good.

02:30My first and second trimester was actually really easy.

02:34I had no morning sickness, which I was blessed to not have that.

02:39But now that I'm kind of going into the third trimester,

02:42now I'm just starting to get slower.

02:44And now I feel like it's harder to sleep and get comfortable.

02:47And she kicks all the time.

02:49Do you know the gender?

02:51Yes, it's a girl.

02:51Congratulations.

02:52Oh, wow.
