Let's learn thought letters Let's learn Arabic letters articulation points
00:06
means mahrij mahrij in Arabic, articulation points in English
00:12
What are they?
00:13
The points of pronouncing letters called mahrij
00:18
Welcome to my channel ever best Arabic advisor It is our first lesson of learning the maharij
00:26
Today we will learn about the thought letters What are thought letters?
00:31
The letters which are pronounced through a thought are called thought letters
00:36
They are six in numbers and they come in pairs It means they are pronounced from three articulation
00:42
points
00:43
These letters are oin, ghoin, haa, hoa, hamza and haa
00:57
They are pronounced from three articulation points in pairs
01:02
From the upper thought letter, hoa and ghoin are pronounced
01:08
From middle thought, haa and oin are pronounced From lower thought, hamza and haa are pronounced
01:18
In Arabic, upper thought is called adnahalk And the middle thought is called wasthalk
01:26
And the lower thought is called aqsahalk So from adnahalk, hoa and ghoin are pronounced
01:34
From wasthalk, haa and oin are pronounced And from aqsahalk, hamza and haa are pronounced
01:41
Now the question is how to remember these letters as their scatters in the Arabic alphabets
01:48
So the tip is to first we try to remember as the letters come in pairs
01:53
Oin and oin come in pairs Haa and hoa come in pairs
01:58
Hamza and haa also come together
02:01
First of all we try to make the pair of the letter with no dot
02:07
It means the letter without dot, oin and haa we can make them a pair
02:12
And the letter with dot, ghoin and haa we can make a pair
02:16
So oin and haa can be separated as a pair And ghoin and haa can be separated as a pair
02:24
And hamza and haa already a pair Ghoin and haa are now pronounced from the
02:31
upper throat Oin and haa are pronounced from the lower throat
02:35
And hamza and haa are pronounced from the middle throat
02:39
So in this way we can remember that these three articulation points and the letter pronounced
02:45
from them Now let's practice how to pronounce this letter
02:50
with examples First we will practice the upper throat letter
02:55
Adrul Haq that is Ghoin Ghoin, let's practice
03:25
Now you practice with me
03:55
Now let's practice Khoa, it's pronounced from the upper throat
04:15
It's pronounced from Adrul Haq
04:46
Khoa makes the maximum throat, maximum resistance in your throat
04:59
Now let's practice the middle throat letter
05:16
Read with me
05:32
Now read the words
05:46
Varafa Oin
05:54
Now let's practice the second middle throat letter
05:57
Haa
06:11
Haa also makes the resistance in your throat but it makes a middle resistance
06:17
And Khoa makes the maximum resistance
06:21
This is the difference between the both letters
06:23
Make it sure to make the resistance
06:27
More resistance for Khoa and less resistance for Haa
06:33
Both Khoa and Haa are such letters which while pronouncing from their articulation point
06:41
from their maharish they are moved in their maharish
06:45
It means they touch their maharish for few seconds
06:49
Haa
07:01
Now practice the words
07:03
Warahmatuhu
07:09
Yahzanun
07:17
Now practice the other one
07:19
Lower throat letters
07:23
It means Akshul Haq letters
07:25
Hamda
07:27
Read with me
07:29
A U I
07:37
Hamda and Oin are often confused from the beginners
07:43
As both are near in their maharish and also they look like the same but it is not
07:51
Oin is a soft sound
07:53
Hamda is a straight sound
07:55
A
07:57
It comes from its throat directly out of your mouth
08:01
It never touches your throat
08:03
A
08:05
Medium size opens your mouth and say A
08:09
And while pronouncing the letters of Akshul Hal lower throat your chest also vibrates
08:15
A U I
08:19
Wabaa'u
08:27
Almaa'u
08:35
Tumaroon
08:41
Practice again with me
08:43
A U I
08:47
Wabaa'u
08:51
Almaa'u
08:55
Tumaroon
08:57
Now practice the second one
09:01
Haa
09:09
This is another Ha
09:11
In throat letters there are three Ha
09:13
Haa from the upper throat which make the maximum resistance in your throat
09:19
Then Haa from your middle throat which make the medium resistance in your throat
09:25
And Haa from your lower throat as you can say Akshul Hal
09:31
It make no resistance at all in your throat
09:33
Ok
09:35
So this is the difference which you have to make sure to make the difference
09:39
Mixing the letters is a big mistake
09:43
So have to make sure
09:45
A
09:47
When you read this round Ha
09:49
Or you can say two eyes Ha
09:51
Your chest also vibrates
09:53
This is the biggest sign that you are at the right articulation point
09:59
That you are at the right mahrij
10:01
A
10:03
