00:00The Commission on Elections, or COMELEC, will investigate the influx of registered voters

00:05in several barangays.

00:06According to COMELEC Chairperson George Erwin Garcia, they observed a 40 percent increase

00:12of registered voters from other provinces in some barangays in Makati City, Nueva Ecija,

00:18and Cagayan de Oro.

00:20The COMELEC learned the voters only used a barangay certificate for their registration

00:25allegedly.

00:26Furthermore, the COMELEC vowed to resolve the issue and will release the final list

00:30of voters in each barangay and precinct next week.
