00:00I want an Englishman to manage England, you know, I'm very patriotic.

00:03I think we should have an English manager.

00:05But but obviously the field was very small to choose from

00:09because Englishmen don't get or don't get jobs

00:13managing in the Premier League very often.

00:14Now, every all the clubs are owned by foreign owners.

00:17And when they bring a manager in, they bring a foreign manager.

00:21And as soon as there's a change, they never look below the premiership

00:25to go and bring somebody in from the championship.

00:27You know, it's always got to be a foreign manager.

00:30So it's getting the field is getting smaller and smaller.

00:32I don't know what we got, maybe three managers or maybe wrong,

00:35maybe two, maybe three managers in the Premier League or English.

00:38So the field wasn't wasn't a big field to choose from, unfortunately.

00:42But I do think that with all the effort, the money that they spend on

00:46on coaching courses and everything else, when the jobs come along,

00:50an Englishman never seems to get the big jobs.

00:52It's sad. He's lost his job quite quickly.

00:55A couple of clubs, you know, it's not like he's been a massive success there.

00:59You know, it's not like Jürgen Klopp was a Dortmund, then went to Liverpool

01:02and was a success and stayed many, many years.

01:05You know, he sort of come and gone and come and gone at a couple of clubs.
