00:12More than 400 overseas Filipino workers, including almost 30 of their dependents, have been repatriated from Lebanon.
00:20According to the government, the latest arrival yesterday of another individual who was rescued and returned to Manila is also included.
00:28Also included is an OFW who was immediately brought to the Oahu Ambulance Hospital due to his medical condition.
00:35In addition to the government, there are almost 40 Filipinos who will be repatriated from the country after assistance from the Canadian government.
00:43Before these people were repatriated, they were seen by Philippine Ambassador to Lebanon Raymond Balatbat.
00:49They were expected to arrive in Manila on Monday night.
00:52The government assured that they will continue their efforts to bring the Filipinos back from Lebanon.
00:59This is part of the assurance of their safety amid the ongoing conflict in the region.
01:05President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. first ordered the concerned government agencies to use all resources available to ensure the safe repatriation of Filipinos to Lebanon.
