00:00Today I'm going to teach you how to repair a crank arm. As you can see this
00:04crank arm is very loose. So you need to remove this bolt that's in front of the
00:11crank arm and as you can see underneath the bolt there are some slits here that
00:16you need to tighten and this bolt prevents you from being able to tighten.
00:19And when you tighten and loosen it's the opposite of righty tighty lefty loosey.
00:24It's righty loosey lefty tight. So here we go and I always like to say clockwise
00:33is to tighten counterclockwise is to loosen. So this is going to be the
00:36opposite. It's going to be counterclockwise is to tighten and
00:40clockwise is to loosen. As you can see here it'll get to the point where you
00:46can almost do it by hand. There we go. So you remove that all the way off and
00:51there you go. You can see the little slits right there underneath it. So I'm
00:56actually going to move that down this pedal down to the bottom. So we got this in
01:00better position. Just throw that bolt down to the bottom and then you're going
01:03to take this like I said. You would think right is to tighten but you're going to
01:07actually loosen more if you go to the right. So you want to go to the left. So
01:11just keep going. You can use anything that gets in there. I'm using a flathead
01:15screwdriver and just keep doing that until you get it as tight as you can and
01:24I'll post another little bit here in a second once I get this fully tightened. As
01:28you can see it's not wobbly anymore right here and my daughter's gonna be
01:32very excited to be able to go on a bike ride with me again. Bring this bolt back
01:36up and it's lefty tighten counterclockwise to tighten and you can
01:42go by finger most of the way and then I'm just gonna use this to tighten it
01:46going counterclockwise to tighten. There we go. Thank you very much for watching.
