00:00Morocco will reduce electricity rates by 36 centavos per kilowatt hour this month

00:05due to lower generation charges from the wholesale electricity spot market or WESEM.

00:10Consumers can save 72 pesos for 200 kilowatt hour, 108 pesos for 300 kilowatt hour,

00:17143 pesos for 400 kilowatt hour, and 179 pesos for 500 kilowatt hour.

00:25The power utility giant explained reduction in power bill would have been greater if not for

00:31the around 1 billion pesos per month which will last for 12 months under the gas supply purchase

00:36agreement or GSPA. Customers are advised to only deal with authorized representatives to avoid scams.
