00:01who I need structure and routine.

00:03Like, so, like, my ex, and I think one of the reasons

00:06things became so hard for us is that he thrives in chaos.

00:09Like, his schedule, like, I don't even remember

00:11the last time he was in England for a full week.

00:13Like, he's all over the place, and I just can't do that.

00:16So, like, no. But now I'm trying to figure out

00:18how I can get my social life back

00:20and have Bodhi and work and stuff.

00:22So, that's a process as well.

00:24I think I knew that I was really unhappy,

00:26and I think he knew that he was really unhappy too.

00:29But I don't think either of us ever would have predicted

00:31that we were gonna break up, ever.

00:33And I swear to God, it was just, like, one day,

00:36we were, I remember exactly where we were.

00:38I remember the day, the time, the temperature,

00:41the outfits, where we were, everything.

00:43I just remember being, like, just saying it.

00:45Like, I don't, I don't think that we should do this anymore.

00:49And, but really meaning it.

00:50Yeah.

00:51Um, and it kind of went from there.

00:53And like I say, like, it, it kind of, it...

00:55It doesn't just happen.

00:57Like, people are like, this is when we decided...

00:59Well, it didn't for us, anyway.

01:00It was, it was built up, built upon,

01:03and it was farmed up as time passed.

01:05And it's still like that now.

01:07Like, there's still moments now,

01:08there are still moments where we kind of boomerang a bit.

01:10Um, like, what happened recently?

01:12I can't remember what happened recently.

01:14But, oh, he moved out. Just this tiny thing.

01:16-...moving out of the house. -...

01:19And that was like a boomerang moment,

01:20where you kind of have to relive it again.

01:22And that was really interesting.

01:24And then we were both at Glastonbury

01:25and we ran into each other.

01:26And that was like, quite surprisingly for me.

01:28I didn't see it coming, like a boomerang moment.

01:30Because I was with all of our mutual friends

01:32and he was with his, like, kind of more DJ friends.

01:34And that was a weird moment.

01:35So, you kind of relive it sometimes.

01:37You know, he's this person I have a child with.

01:40And I was, I'm married to her, and I was bumping into you.

01:42And like, 11 years. Like, 11 years.

01:44It's a long time.

01:46I've like, basically kind of grown up

01:47into adulthood with him, basically.

01:50Um, so there are still boomerang moments.

01:51You know, you still kind of, you build.

01:53It's like building bricks.

01:54You build on that kind of solidity

01:56and certainty of this decision as time passes.

01:59But, you know, it was never just instantaneous.

02:02James and I, we're really good friends.

02:04I just want to be clear.

02:05We don't work together romantically.

02:07We do work as friends, by and large.

02:10We do work as friends. We're very good friends.

02:12We spend loads of time together.

02:13Me, him and Bodhi are often on Sunday lunch together.

02:16He was with me on my birthday with her

02:18to kind of basically be the parent while I got drunk.

02:20Yeah, love that.

02:21Yeah, exactly.

02:23Uh, and then, you know, obviously,

02:24we spent Bodhi's birthday together.

02:26And we're still very good friends.

02:28And I think, and I hope that over time,

02:30that's only gonna get, like, we're only gonna get

02:33closer and better in that specific regard

02:35of being friends.

02:36Um, so, you know, actually, we made the right decision.

02:39We're happier and we're closer in many ways now

02:41than we were then.
