00:00How was the decision made to go with Rattler over Hayner?

00:06Well, Rattler, and you know, they've been in a pretty fierce, you know, battle for the

00:12backup quarterback.

00:13But Rattler is a guy who he's got a big arm, number one, he's got really, you know, when

00:17they say a guy's got arm talent, he's got arm talent.

00:21But he also has the mobility factor and he's got a little bit of, you know, it's one of

00:25those things where, you know, you see a guy and you can't really describe it, but it's

00:28just kind of a little it factor to it in that he seems fearless.

00:33He's very, very talented, and he doesn't seem like the moments are too big for him.

00:38Now, we're gauging this off of a college career and preseason, but from what they've seen

00:42in college and from what they've seen here in the pros with the Saints, he's been doing

00:47the same things with the scout team against the number one defense.

00:50And this is a pretty good defense, and he's been able to make some plays on the scout

00:54team.

00:55But it's not like you stack your scout team with the best players.

00:58So he's one of those guys who I think when the things break down around him, when he

01:04sees an escape route, I think he's going to be more apt to take it and run for those six,

01:09seven yards and get on the ground.
