00:00Love and travel.
00:01They go hand in hand.
00:02It's like Vegemite and toast.
00:04That's it. That's what I was going to say.
00:06Couldn't think of anything.
00:07We're here to talk to you about our new film Lonely Planet.
00:14I play Owen who accompanies his girlfriend to Morocco.
00:18She's on a writer's retreat and he's kind of at a crossroads in life.
00:22So we quickly start to see this disconnect between him and his partner
00:27and he meets Laura's character.
00:29Oh, hey.
00:32I've arrived at this writer's retreat not knowing what's next as a writer, being stuck.
00:38My long-term relationship has sort of fallen apart.
00:41And through the connection and compassion of this man,
00:46I have an immense discovery of him and myself.
00:50How come you can't finish your book at home?
00:52Long story.
00:54I've got time.
00:57I was drawn to this story because I found this exploration of identity and self-worth
01:03really interesting and relatable.
01:05It's about being seen and understood for who you really are.
01:09I'm going to do some exploring.
01:11But I think you should come.
01:13The discovery of deep intimacy also involves kind of bearing witness to oneself
01:20when you feel safe enough to discover who you are through a love story
01:25as opposed to hiding self in a love story.
01:27I'm not exactly sure what we're doing.
01:30But I'm happy I'm doing it with you.
01:32Me too.
01:34We had an incredible time in Morocco.
01:37We really did.
01:38We got the opportunity to really immerse ourselves in so many different places.
01:43It is extremely diverse.
01:45A little bit of everything you'd wish for.
01:47Camels on the beach.
01:48Goats and trees.
01:49Goats and trees.
01:50You don't see that every day.
01:52And those cocktails and iced copper mugs.
01:54Your memory's good.
01:55Remember?
01:56The specific things that you remember about all this.
01:58Pineapple.
01:59I remember the broad picture.
02:00And you're like, yeah, remember the cups?
02:01I'm like, not at all.
02:04Finding hope in a big mess.
02:07That's what this is.
02:09Laura is the most kind, nurturing, welcoming, warm person
02:13that enters a room and puts everyone at ease.
02:15And, you know, you have this incredible ability to connect with people.
02:20I love, respect laughing constantly and being saved
02:25whenever there was a hard day by this human.
02:28It was everything.
02:29The movie has this at its core.
02:32It was the greatest experience possible.
