00:00What or who do you credit your happiness to at this point in your life?

00:04Oh my gosh, well, everything I get to do.

00:07I'm very grateful and thankful the good Lord is letting me do the wonderful things I get to do

00:14with my singing and now to be on The Voice and also Happy's Place.

00:20I am pinching myself. I'm so thrilled with it.

00:23What would you say at this point? Are you the happiest that you've been in a very long time?

00:26I would say that's true. Yeah, I've got two great jobs.

00:30I got a love of my life, Rex Lynn.

00:34We've been together for almost five years and my health is good.

00:39His health is good. My family is healthy.

00:41So what more could you ask for? What more can you ask for?

00:44You make so many people laugh during the show and things like that.

00:49Who makes you laugh the most? Rex. Rex definitely makes me laugh.

00:53And you know, when you go to work on Happy's Place, these people are funny.

01:00They are funny. Not only the cast, but the crew, the writers, the producers.

01:05It's just a bunch of fun people to be around.

01:07So you're laughing all the time. Who wouldn't want to go to work at that?

01:11Right. Do you and Rex have a similar dynamic in your personal life that you do on screen on the show?

01:17Because I love that you're making your banter back and forth on the show.

01:21But what is your relationship like in real life?

01:25Real life, Rex and I are best friends. We get along.

01:28We have the same likes, dislikes. We were foodies.

01:32We love to cook. We were wanting to be cowboys and cowgirls.

01:37And then we got into the entertainment business instead.

01:40So everything's worked out great with Rex and me and our dynamic on Happy's Place.

01:45He's been at Happy's Place longer than I've been.

01:50So he knows more about it. So he kind of acts as the therapist a lot of times for all of the people there at Happy's Place.

01:58How would you say in the past five years that this relationship has changed you or changed you at all, if it has?

02:06Well, I think we have made each other better.

02:08Rex brings out the little girl in me and I have fun.

02:12I'm dorky. I'm goofy. He is too.

02:15We just laugh and we love to laugh and we love each other.

02:19So that's a lot of fun. We both love watching television.

02:24We're always on the lookout for a new limited series or a series to watch or a movie to watch.

02:30He says that it's his homework by watching other actors and learning from them.

02:35I do it for pure enjoyment. So we do have that in common also.

02:40You've talked about this before, but have your views on marriage changed at all?

02:44Do you want to get married again or is that not important to you at this stage because you found your life partner?

02:51I don't think it really makes any difference to me at all.

02:54I'm fine with the way we are. If Rex ever wants to get married, then we'll talk about it.

02:59Now, you have stayed so grounded and have had such a wonderful career.

03:03What do you what do you credit for you to stay so grounded?

03:06Because so many celebrities fall into the pitfalls of fame and things like that.

03:09But what do you credit being able to kind of stay on the path and, you know, just go towards your success?

03:16I surround myself with people who are not yes, people similar to my family.

03:23If I ever got a little egotistical, a little too big for my britches,

03:26they were real close, really, really close to me to tell me you can't do that.

03:32Yeah, it's true. And I know faith has played a big part in your life as well.

03:35How has your faith shaped you? Oh, in every way.

03:38I don't know where I'd be. We certainly wouldn't be where I am right now without my faith, my belief, my trust.

03:46And God is my rock, my everything.

03:51I mean, I wake up in the morning talking to him and I go to sleep at night talking to him.

03:55So it's he's my guidance, my angels, my Holy Spirit, Mother Mary.

04:01You know, I've got the whole team there on my side and I'm just thrilled to pieces about that.
