00:05ranks. Marissa Duenas, a trusted administrator of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ, pleads guilty

00:11to charges that she conspired with Kibuloy's group to defraud the U.S. government. Assistant

00:16U.S. Attorney Gregory Staples signs the plea agreement on Tuesday, October 8. The plea

00:21deal might spare Duenas a harsher penalty.

00:24Duenas is one of several Kibuloy associates in the U.S. indicted in late 2021 by a federal

00:29jury in California for various criminal offenses including sex trafficking, fraud, and money

00:35laundering. She has been identified as an administrator of KOJC's operations and a

00:40human resources manager in the U.S. These are the other Kibuloy associates and co-accused

00:46who either surrendered or posted bail in the U.S. The group was charged with crimes that

00:51include sex trafficking of children, marriage fraud, fraud and misuse of visas, bulk cash

00:56smuggling, and money laundering.
