An industrial unit comprising garages caught fire in the south of Manchester, spiraling out of control.

This video shows dark smoke plumes billowing from the affected area, putting nearby residents at risk.

The footage also captures firefighters battling the blaze, with several police vehicles present on site to help manage the situation.

Understandably, numerous roads were closed to traffic while authorities worked to contain the fire.
