00:09That's why he appointed the new DILG Secretary, the former Cavite Governor John V. Cremulia.

00:20The former Cavite Governor John V. Cremulia appointed President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

00:23as the new Secretary of the Department of the Interior and Local Government or DILG.

00:28The former Cavite Governor John V. Cremulia will replace the former DILG Secretary Benher Abalos

00:35following his departure to run as a Senator in the upcoming Hatol ng Bayan 2025.

00:41According to the President, Cremulia should have the right to the position.

00:45He should prove here what he has accomplished and what he has achieved in the province of Cavite

00:50during his long-term service.

00:53He prioritized his responsibilities as a result of the trust given to him by his constituents.

01:00He is the reason for him to be the next SILG.

01:04The executive board should not separate what Cremulia should do as the new DILG Secretary

01:11because he knows that it is his duty, especially to ensure the safety of the Filipinos

01:16and to be effective frontliners for the local governments.

01:19According to the new Secretary of the Department of the Interior,

01:21his duty is to ensure the safety of the police.

01:26He will also implement structural changes in the NAPOLCOM.

01:29But what he will pay more attention to is the Pogo operation in the country,

01:33especially that the operation should stop on December 31.

01:37That's why he will ensure that the protection of the LGUs will be tight.
