00:00Here in Uzbekistan, here in Tashkent, that has been really a road for cross-fertilization
00:06between cultures, between peoples of around the world.
00:10You know, it's important to talk about this.
00:12It's, you know, creativity and cultural exchange is not only about economic value,
00:19it's also about values themselves.
00:30The fourth World Conference on Creative Economy brought together over 2,000 global creative leaders,
00:39experts and policymakers to shape and drive progress across the creative economic sphere.
00:45Since we are the host country, we really, really hope that this fourth edition
00:51would support the further development of creative economy and the conference
00:55because the World Conference on Creative Economy actually has the really, really great goal
01:02to become the largest platform, global platform, for collaboration in creative industries.
01:08Cultural and creative industries are among the fastest-growing sectors globally,
01:13generating annual revenues of around 2 trillion euros
01:17and contributing 3.1% to global GDP.
01:21The forum was a platform to discuss the impact that emerging technology, AI and digitization
01:28are having on the creative sector.
01:30I think that is a huge opportunity and it's very difficult to think about creative industries today
01:36without digitalization.
01:39But at the same time, it's a challenge.
01:41First of all, because you have to train the artistic community and the creative community
01:47because there are risks in artificial intelligence, for example, substituting the artists.
01:55So we need the intellectual property framework to protect the creators.
02:01The creative industries are undergoing a huge transformation.
02:05They drive innovation and influence social change.
02:08If he makes you slide into the far seat of the car instead of opening your door and then walking around...
02:15The gestard guy is a social media content creator
02:18and he says that collaboration is key to ensure growth within the industry.
02:22I think collaboration is key to bring in different minds in the room, different perspectives
02:29and also leverage other people's networks and audiences.
02:34It gives you a great way to bring first-time viewers into your world and your audience
02:39and there's no faster way to bring in a new audience
02:43and to combine your audience with another one by collaborating.
02:46As the creative industry continues to develop, it's sure to be a transformational force
02:51for future inclusive, sustainable and economic growth.
