00:00Sir, a lot of people noticed that you promote and post about Asian hate that's happening.
00:08Asian hate, the hate from other countries.
00:12Why is that close to you, sir?
00:14Oh, I experienced Asian hate when I was back in the States during the pandemic.
00:18When was that? 2002? 20? 22?
00:20Oh, so the pandemic is 2020, so I went back to 2021, 22, right?
00:25So around 2021, 2022.
00:27What happened? First, why 22?
00:29Well, I was walking down the streets of San Francisco, a place that I always walk because that's my hometown.
00:37For the first time in my life, I experienced racism.
00:41What did you experience, sir?
00:43Well, this lady walked by me and I smiled at her and she spit in my face.
00:49Oh my God.
00:50Yes, I never thought I would experience that in my hometown.
00:53What's her race? Is she American?
00:56Yes, she was not Asian.
00:59It was shocking to me because I never thought I would experience that, especially since I'm an American in my hometown.
01:06So yes, I'm an advocate for awareness, anti-Asian hate and awareness.
01:13We're all equal. We're all equal people. We're all God's children.
01:18And I just experiencing it firsthand was shocking, but I think we can be better as humans, you know?
01:26But sir, you're like that, but others are better. Because others are physically hurting you, right?
01:32Yes, that's right. I'm lucky.
01:34You were beaten and everything.
01:36Yeah, especially our elders.
01:37Okay.
01:38And my parents, they're in their 80s, 70s and 80s now. They still walk every day.
01:44So of course, I'm always worried that something might happen to them.
01:50So for me, since we're all about good vibes, if I do something good to people, hopefully the Lord will do good for my parents.
02:00Somebody will save them or no harm will come to them.
02:03So I'm all about karma and good vibes and treating others right so that the good karma will go back to my parents.
02:12I'm glad you brought up Asian hate because it's something we need to address more.
02:17Yes.
02:18And it's unfair. Especially Asians are the ones who built America.
02:23Asians built that country. If it weren't for the OFWs, we're building all the other nations.
02:30So it's us Asians, especially Pinoys, who are so vital for the industry.
02:42I'm glad you brought up Asian hate because it's something we need to address more.
02:46Yes.
02:47And it's unfair. Especially Asians are the ones who built America.
02:51So it's us Asians, especially Pinoys, who are so vital for the industry.
