Rain showers to persist due to ITCZ, easterlies

00:00At the moment, there are two low-pressure areas that we are monitoring.

00:06The first one is located inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

00:11It was completed at 8 a.m.

00:14And as of 3 p.m. today, it is located 100 kilometers west-northwest of Coron, Palawan.

00:21This low-pressure area is embedded here in the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ

00:29which is affected by Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

00:33And because of the Intertropical Convergence Zone,

00:36we expect heavy rainfall and heavy rains

00:40especially in Metro Manila, Calabar Zone, Bicol Region, Mimaropa, and Visayas.

00:48That's why our fellow countrymen who were affected by heavy rains in the past few days

00:52should be careful of flooding or landslides.

00:56For the time being, in most parts of our country,

01:00we are partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of localized thunderstorms.

01:05Our Regional Services Division will issue thunderstorm advisory,

01:10rainfall advisory, or heavy rainfall warning if necessary.

01:14The second low-pressure area that we are monitoring

01:18is located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:22It was completed at 2 p.m.

01:25It is located at a distance of 2,525 kilometers east of the extreme northern Luzon.

01:32This low-pressure area does not remove the possibility of a thunderstorm.

01:38That's why we will continue to provide updates based on our expectations.

01:42Another low-pressure area in the Philippine Area of Responsibility

01:47has a low chance of a thunderstorm in the next 24 hours.

01:54For the time being, we expect that it will only rain here in the Bicol Region,

02:01in Metro Manila, and in most parts of our country,

02:05we are partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of flooding, landslides, and landslides.

02:11For the temperature tomorrow in Metro Manila,

02:1425 to 31 degrees Celcius, 17 to 23 degrees Celcius in Baguio,

03:04For Cebu, Caguyendeoro and Tacloban, the temperature will range from 25 to 32 degrees Celcius.

03:10For Davao, the temperature will range from 24 to 33 degrees Celcius.

03:17We still do not have a high gale warning in any city in our country.

03:22For the 3-day weather outlook of our main cities,

03:25we expect that in the next 3 days, Metro Manila, Baguio, and Legazpi City

03:30will continue to have fair weather conditions with chances of localized thunderstorms.

03:35The highest temperature in Metro Manila is 32 degrees Celcius,

03:3917 to 23 degrees Celcius in Baguio, and 25 to 33 degrees Celcius in Legazpi.

03:47In Metro Cebu, Iloilo City, and Tacloban City,

03:50as well as in a large part of the Visayas area,

03:54we expect that in the next 3 days, we will continue to have fair weather conditions with chances of localized thunderstorms.

04:01The highest temperature in Metro Cebu will range from 25 to 33 degrees Celcius,

04:0625 to 33 degrees Celcius in Iloilo City, and 25 to 32 degrees Celcius in Tacloban City.

04:16Let's go to Mindanao, Metro Davao, Caguyendeoro, and Zamboanga City,

04:20as well as in a large part of the Mindanao area,

04:23we still haven't seen a weather system that will continue to bring rain,

04:27or when it rains heavily,

04:29that's why the fair weather conditions will continue to have chances of rain, thunderstorms, and thunderstorms.
