00:00In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
00:15I swear by the Day of Resurrection
00:24And I swear by the reproaching soul to the certainty of resurrection
00:37Does man think that We will not assemble his bones?
00:48Yes, We are able even to proportion his fingertips
01:00But man desires to continue in sin
01:09He asks, when is the Day of Resurrection?
01:17So when vision is dazzled
01:23And the moon darkens
01:30And the sun and the moon are joined
01:33Man will say on that day, where is the place of escape?
01:44No, there is no refuge
01:50To your Lord, that day, is the place of permanence
01:59Man will be informed that day of what he sent ahead and kept back
02:12Rather, man against himself will be a witness
02:25Even if he presents his excuses
02:33Move not your tongue with it, O Muhammad, to hasten with recitation of the Quran
02:39Indeed, upon us is its collection in your heart, and to make possible its recitation
02:52So when we have recited it through Gabriel, then follow its recitation
03:03Then upon us is its clarification to you
03:11No, but you love the immediate
03:19And leave the hereafter
03:25Some faces that day will be radiant
03:33Looking at their Lord
03:38And some faces that day will be contorted
03:47Expecting that there will be done to them something back-breaking
03:56No, when the soul has reached the collarbones
04:06And it is said, who will cure him?
04:14And the dying one is certain that it is the time of separation
04:25And the leg is wound about the leg
04:33To your Lord, that day, will be the procession
04:43And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed
04:51But instead he denied and turned away
04:59Then he went to his people, swaggering in pride
05:09Woe to you and woe
05:14Then woe to you and woe
05:21Does man think that he will be left neglected?
05:32Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted?
05:42Then he was a clinging clot, and Allah created his form and proportioned him
05:55And made of him two mates, the male and the female
06:05Is not that able to give life to the dead?
