00:00In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
00:15Al Haqqah
00:20The Inevitable Reality
00:23Mal Haqqah
00:28What is the Inevitable Reality?
00:31Wama Adraaka Mal Haqqah
00:39And what can make you know what is the Inevitable Reality?
00:43Kazzabat Thamud Wa Aad Bil Qari'ah
00:50Thamud and Aad denied the striking calamity
00:55As for Thamud, they were destroyed by the overpowering blast
01:06As for Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming violent wind
01:21Which Allah imposed upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession
01:47So you would see the people therein fallen, as if they were hollow trunks of palm trees
01:58Then do you see of them any remains?
02:12And there came Pharaoh and those before him, and they overturned cities with sin
02:26And they disobeyed the Messenger of their Lord, so He seized them with a seizure exceeding in severity
02:34Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship
02:49That We might make it for you a reminder
03:03And that a conscious ear would be conscious of it
03:07Then when the horn is blown with one blast
03:17And the earth and the mountains are lifted and leveled with one blow
03:31Then on that day the resurrection will occur
03:40And the heaven will split open, for that day it is infirm
03:54And the angels are at its edges, and there will bear the throne of your Lord above them, that day eight of them
04:18That day you will be exhibited for judgment, not hidden among you is anything concealed
04:33So as for he who is given his record in his right hand, he will say, Here, read my record
05:01Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account
05:09So he will be in a pleasant life
05:16In an elevated garden
05:22Its fruit to be picked hanging near
05:37They will be told, Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you put forth in the days past
05:44But as for he who is given his record in his left hand, he will say, Oh, I wish I had not been given my record
06:04And had not known what is my account
06:11Oh, I wish my death had been the decisive one
06:19My wealth has not availed me
06:28Gone from me is my authority
06:36Seize him and shackle him
06:44Then into hellfire drive him
06:53Then into a chain of seventy arrows, so go forth
07:05Then into a chain whose length is seventy cubits, insert him
07:17Indeed, he did not use to believe in Allah, the Most Great
07:29Nor did he encourage the feeding of the poor
07:40So there is not for him here this day any devoted friend
07:52Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds
08:04None will eat it except the sinners
08:15So I swear by what you see
08:22And what you do not see
08:32That indeed the Quran is the word of a noble messenger
08:45And it is not the word of a poet, little do you believe
08:59Nor the word of a soothsayer, little do you remember
09:11It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds
09:23And if Muhammad had made up about us some false sayings
09:32We would have seized him by the right hand
09:42Then we would have cut from him the aorta
09:54And there is no one of you who could prevent us from him
10:05And indeed the Quran is a reminder for the righteous
10:09And indeed we know that among you are deniers
10:22And indeed it will be a cause of regret upon the disbelievers
10:34And indeed it is the truth of certainty
10:44So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great
