00:00Hi, welcome back to my channel, in this video, I will explain the ending of Noise, so, let's
00:05begin.
00:06Noise, or Aruido, is a social issue drama film about a woman who is desperately seeking
00:10the whereabouts of her daughter who went missing 2 years ago, just to let you know this video
00:14will contain spoilers.
00:16Julia has been called to identify a girl, thought to be her missing daughter Gr.
00:21It turns out to be a mess up by the authorities.
00:24Gr finished her studies 9 months ago and was a psychologist.
00:28She went missing during a trip with her friends to celebrate their graduation.
00:32Abril, a journalist who is investigating the disappearance of numerous individuals, communicates
00:37with her regarding the case.
00:39Julia keeps rewatching the last video message sent by Gr, where she asked her mother to
00:43relax and that she would see her soon.
00:46Abril and Julia visit Cassandra, a lawyer detached from the government who has helped
00:50many with cases of missing people.
00:52Julia tells her that a video surfaced of Gr and her friends attempting to snort cocaine.
00:57She was holding the bag and now the police are trying to use this against her.
01:01Cassandra suggests that Julia look for her in a red-light district where attractive women
01:05are kidnapped and taken for trafficking.
01:08Julia and Abril also look in a trailer full of dead bodies but she is relieved not to
01:12find her.
01:14She then decides to enter the red-light district.
01:17The police feign support but as soon as Julia and Abril enter one of the houses, the cops
01:21arrive to take them.
01:23As they flee, the two are told to find the pastor by one of the women.
01:27At the pastor's shelter, they find a number of victims of kidnapping and trafficking who
01:31live there with their children but still no sign of Gr.
01:34Next, they find a group that searches the fields for dead bodies.
01:39They've all lost someone from their family and have now bonded with each other.
01:43Julia finds some solace with them but no trace of Gr.
01:47Julia asks Abril why she has undertaken such a dangerous investigation even though she
01:50has a daughter to take care of.
01:53She replies that it's precisely the reason she does it because she knows the importance
01:56of family.
01:58Both the women have come under the notice of dangerous individuals from the crime syndicates
02:02as well as the government, who have some sort of connection.
02:05During a bus journey, some men enter and forcefully drag Abril away and Julia is only able to
02:10watch in agony as she knows very well there's nothing she can do.
02:14She criticizes the police for being against her who assure her that Abril will be fine.
02:19They've found a criminal with contacts and he might have some information on Gr.
02:23What happened to Gr?
02:25The man caught by the police is part of a drug cartel.
02:28Julia talks to him directly and asks if he has seen her daughter.
02:32She shows him photos of her and tells him about her.
02:35He hears with interest and tells her that looking for her is a waste of time.
02:39When Julia questions why, he tells her that she and her friends had been snorting cocaine
02:43that wasn't theirs so they took her.
02:45And also because she was attractive.
02:48Although it's still unclear what exactly happened to her, but the cartel members' words strongly
02:52hint that they raped and killed her.
02:54What causes the uproar?
02:56Julia is visibly in shock after hearing the savage words of the thug.
03:01She leaves the building in a haze and finds a crowd.
03:04All the mothers and female relatives of the missing people have banded together and started
03:08protesting against the authorities.
03:11Julia is moved to see this kind of revolt.
03:14She cannot stop herself from joining the chants as she knows their pain extremely well.
03:18Is Julia dead or alive?
03:21As soon it's dark and the media leave, the police storm the place and start attacking
03:24the crowd, which causes chaos.
03:27Julia tries to escape along with all the women, but she is hit by one of the men and loses
03:31consciousness.
03:33When she wakes up, nobody seems to notice her.
03:36She quietly leaves the place and finds a girl in a mask, who removes it and reveals herself
03:40as Gr.
03:42This last sequence means that Julia is dead and this was the only way she could reunite
03:45with her daughter.
03:47In the end, it is revealed that in Mexico, since the start of the so-called the war on
03:51drugs, over 90,000 people have gone missing.
03:54But it's not about the number, it's about the people and their families.
03:59That's all for now folks.
