When a thunderstorm rolled in, this Maltese pup felt a wave of fear wash over him.

With loud claps of thunder echoing around the house, he instinctively sought a safe haven where he could hide and feel secure.

He looked toward the stairs, eager to escape to the comfort of the upper floor.

However, a safety gate blocked his way, making it difficult for him to climb up and find his cozy spot.

However, he found his way, and with a burst of energy, he dashed up the stairs.
