00:00Once upon a time, they lived three piglets with their mother in a small house.
00:08It was time for them to leave their home and learn to live on their own.
00:13Their mother called the three piglets next to her.
00:20My dear children, the time has come for you to go out into the world, go and start your
00:26new lives.
00:27But don't ever forget, whatever you do in this world, do the best you can.
00:32This is the only and the best way to stay alive.
00:39A little sad with a bit of excitement, the three little piglets said their goodbyes to
00:44their mummy and were on their way.
00:49After a while, they found some piece of land where they could build their own home.
01:01The youngest piglet was determined to build his home with straw.
01:06He thought this was the easiest and the fastest way to build a home.
01:10That way, he had heaps of time to play.
01:15The youngest of them all finished his house in one day.
01:18He yelled out to the other piglets, Hey you guys, I'm already finished.
01:24The eldest piglet had a look at the house.
01:27Okay, but this house doesn't look steady at all.
01:31How will we protect ourselves from the wolf?
01:34The youngest piglet didn't take any notice of his brother.
01:37Don't worry, nothing will happen.
01:39Okay, don't say I didn't warn you.
01:44The middle piglet decided to make his house out of wood.
01:48From the branches he had collected in the woods, he decided to build a little cubby
01:52house.
01:53His house took exactly three days to finish.
01:56This house was a bit more steady than the one with straw.
02:00The eldest piglet walked over towards him.
02:03My dear brother, you've done a great job, but this doesn't look safe at all.
02:09Is this house going to protect us from the wolf?
02:11The middle piglet answered, Don't worry, this house is very safe.
02:16Okay, don't say I didn't warn you.
02:20While the two little piglets were having a great time in their newly built homes, the
02:24eldest of them all was constantly working, because he was building a home from bricks
02:30and rocks.
02:31The other piglets thought that his effort was useless, all they did was play around
02:37and kill time.
02:40Why would you bother with this when you can quickly finish like we have?
02:46Hey, how scared is he?
02:49The eldest piglet didn't bother listening to them.
02:53He worked for one whole week and managed to finish his house made out of bricks and rocks.
02:59A day later, a hungry wolf arrived near their home.
03:06He first stood in front of the house made of straw.
03:10The little piglet was resting in his house made of straw.
03:15The wolf knocked on the door.
03:24Open the door and let me in.
03:27If you don't, I'll huff and puff and blow your house in.
03:32You can't do anything to me.
03:34My house is steady enough.
03:36And so the wolf huffed and puffed and he blew his house in.
03:41But with great effort, the little piglet managed to get away.
03:45And off he ran over to his brother's house made from tree branches.
03:51He knocked on the door and when the middle piglet opened the door, the little piglet
03:56threw himself inside the house.
03:58Hey, close the door, the wolf can come in here.
04:01Don't worry, he can't do anything to us in this house.
04:04After a while, the wolf came by the second piglet's wooden house and yelled inside.
04:11Open the door and let me in.
04:14If you don't, I'll huff and puff and blow your house in.
04:20You can't blow my house in.
04:23And so the wolf huffed and puffed and he blew his house in and brought it down.
04:29Both piglets ran to the third piglet's house and barely got away from the wolf.
04:35Brother, the wolf is going this way.
04:39What are we going to do?
04:41The oldest piglet answered very sure of himself.
04:45Don't worry, the wolf cannot come in this house.
04:50A little later, the starving wolf came by the third piglet's house of bricks and stone
04:56and yelled to the three piglets.
04:59Open the door and let me in.
05:02If you don't, I'll huff and puff and blow your house in.
05:08Don't you even try, you bad wolf.
05:11You cannot come in this house.
05:13The wolf got very angry.
05:15He huffed and puffed, but nothing happened.
05:19He could not bring his house down.
05:23He tried and tried, but he couldn't move one single brick.
05:28Finally, being exhausted, the wolf decided to try another way to go in.
05:34He saw the chimney up on the roof and started to climb.
05:40Realising that the wolf was going to climb up on the roof and come down the chimney,
05:45the piglet quickly lit up the fireplace right under the chimney
05:51and put a big bucket of water on the woods.
05:54The wolf barely climbed up the chimney and threw himself in
06:03and went straight into the boiling bucket.
06:09Help! Help! I'm burning! Save me!
06:17Finally, being free from the wolf, the piglets hugged each other with joy.
06:25The three piglets went to their mother's house the next day to tell her all that had happened.
06:31The youngest one came next to his mother.
06:34You were right, Mummy. Whatever we did in this world, we have done it to our best.
06:39If you really work for something, it will be a success.
06:46From that day on, the two piglets were never lazy.
06:50They worked hard like their big brother and lived a happy and safe life.
