Care home hosts wedding blessing so 99-year-old can give daughter away
Real Fix

A care home hosted a wedding blessing - so a 99-year-old could give his daughter away.
Fiona Butler-Clayton and new hubbie Richard Butler tied the knot in the Cotswolds.
Dad Henry Clayton was unable to travel the long distance to be with them due to his health.
But he was still able to do his fatherly duties at The Spinney - his care home in Chingford in London.
On hearing of the couple’s dilemma staff there offered to host a wedding blessing to take place following the couple’s June wedding.
The blessing, which was performed by the minister from Chingford United Reform Church, was attended by members of Fiona and Richard’s family.
