Forest Wool is on a mission to replace synthetic fibers in textiles and diversify the mono-culture-driven industry by utilising wasted natural resources to their best potential.

00:00In 2020, we have produced 350 million kilograms of cotton, and that's only in Europe.

00:18At the same time, in Europe, we have wasted 350 million kilograms of pine needles.

00:24Pine trees are the world's main source of timber.

00:28However, there is no particular use of pine needles, which make up to 10-30% of its mass.

00:33By utilising wasted resources, we could actually create valuable materials,

00:38which can replace other resource-demanding and polluting fibres like cotton.

00:54At Works4, we develop the textile fibre made from pine needles slash waste of timber industry.

01:16and it can be turned into a high-added-value product with benefits for foresters, giving them additional income.
