00:00Optimism is fleeting on my Miami Dolphins AFC tickets.

00:07And look, I can easily chalk up the state of the Dolphins

00:14to two Otunga-Vailoa's injuries.

00:17And I wouldn't be wrong to chalk those up

00:27Again, Tua threw for 338 yards in week number one.

00:31He was the passing leader

00:33in the opening week of the season.

00:36If you take a look at the Miami Dolphins,

00:39Tua Otunga-Vailoa, who has not played

00:43is still leading this team in passing.

00:47Tua has thrown for more yards.

00:49And you might say, oh, that's because it's Skyler,

00:51then Huntley, then Boyle.

00:53Skyler, Huntley, Boyle all combined,

00:57Like, it's just, it's so bad.

01:01But I think my lack of any optimism

01:06is it's not even when Tua gets back.

01:11It was, it's seeing Mike McDaniel,

01:14I think, have an opportunity to prove

01:17that he can be a top coach in this league

01:21and completely go the other way.

01:26The game against Seattle,

01:29look, the Seahawks, I think, have a good defense.

01:31I know that the Lions completely abused them.

01:36But the Lions are one of the best offenses in football.

01:39The Lions haven't had a breakout game in quite some time

01:44on the offensive side of the football,

01:45certainly throughout this season.

01:47The Lions were gonna be super focused

01:49because they've lost to Seattle in consecutive years.

01:53And Seattle was banged up to the nth degree.

01:59And so I'm covering for Miami

02:01for what they did in that game against Seattle.

02:03I really am.

02:05The game against the Titans, though, you can't cover for.

02:09The Titans' best defensive player, Jeffrey Simmons, out.

02:12The Jarius need played but injured the corner

02:14that they brought over from the Chiefs last season.

02:18And everything about the Dolphins was sloppy.

02:24Was inconsistent.

02:28And it was baffling, I think, at a lot of times.

02:32You know, the idea on Devon Achan,

02:34he's an explosive runner,

02:36yet somehow 10 carries for 15 yards.

02:38I mean, sure, the player has to take some onus,

02:41but you're telling me

02:43that one of the most explosive players in football,

02:45in Devon Achan, hardly can leave this game

02:48with more carries than Jalen Wright.

02:49And I know people are like,

02:50well, Jalen Wright was better than him in the game.

02:55That's timing, that's design.

02:57I really do believe that.

02:59Tyreek Hill, 23 yards.

03:10So the issue is,

03:13when you think about the schedule,

03:16the four games that this team was set to play

03:30They were look-ahead favorites.

03:31It's flipped due to how bad they were.

03:40I know Joe Flacco is,

03:42like the Dolphins would kill for Flacco right now, right?

03:45But that is, again, a game that would project

03:50around a field goal.

03:53You look at, again, the Seattle game was lost,

03:56and it was lost.

03:58But home against the Titans at New England

04:00and at Indianapolis,

04:02you look at that and think to yourself,

04:05we could go two and one here.

04:07We could.

04:14Well, the first result is getting absolutely destroyed

04:21by a Tennessee Titans team

04:39I still can't really figure it out.
