Users can continue using the MyJPJ application without having to log in using their MyDigital ID account even after Oct 10.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the pop-up notice, which appeared on the MyJPJ application requiring users to first have the MyDigital ID account, was not an official announcement.

00:00This is an arrangement from a pop-up announcement in the MyJPJ application.
00:07I want to emphasize that this is not yet an official announcement,
00:11but there is information that has been circulated through the MyJPJ pop-up
00:16that has given information that may be confusing to many people.
00:23And I see that in many social media comments,
00:27many people are concerned and give answers
00:30regarding one of the things that was said that
00:35after 10 days of October,
00:38MyJPJ users need to log in only with MyDigitalID.
00:45The first thing I have instructed is to download the pop-up
00:51because it has not yet been decided by the Ministry.
00:55So the pop-up has been downloaded immediately in the MyJPJ application.
01:00This afternoon, after the post-cabinet meeting,
01:03I had a discussion with MyDigitalID,
01:10where we first tried to integrate MyDigitalID with MyJPJ.
01:21But it needs to be done seamlessly,
01:25by integrating the packages.
01:28So we had a discussion and reached an agreement
01:33so that the use of MyDigitalID as a login to the MyJPJ application
01:39needs to be done easily
01:43and so as not to cause any problems to MyJPJ users.
01:49So we will take some time to integrate it back-end
01:56so that the pre-approval can be given more easily.
02:01So that when MyDigitalID is downloaded by the users,
02:06it will be easier and the process will be faster
02:10and there is no need to take a long time.
02:13Meanwhile, the date that has been stated earlier, 10th October,
02:18has not been canceled.
02:20So what is important is that the integration must take place in the back-end
02:26between MyJPJ and MyDigitalID
02:29to facilitate all processes to MyJPJ users.
02:34There is indeed a plan to integrate
02:38and is there a problem with MyJPJ that needs to be integrated with MyDigitalID?
02:43There is no problem.
02:45Because MyDigitalID is a government project
02:49to create a single login.
02:51National Single Login.
02:53National Single Login means
02:55that in any government application,
02:58there must be various username and password
03:04or different applications.
03:06So it is our hope to create a single login.
03:11And in this case, MyDigitalID has been decided as National Single Login.
03:16And this is like a digital ID to the Malaysian people.
03:22It can be accessed in various government applications and so on.
03:27And MyJPJ is one of the early applications.
03:30Coincidentally, MyJPJ is the most popular government application
03:35among users today, which is 10.5 million.
03:39So MyJPJ has been chosen as an early application
03:44that needs to be integrated with MyDigitalID.
03:47But the integration method that I have discussed
03:49needs to be implemented in the back-end
03:51so as not to inconvenience the public
03:54to download and so on.
03:57So that will be implemented in several levels.
04:02So for now, what I want to make sure is that
04:05the public does not need to worry
04:08that after October 10, MyJPJ cannot be used.
04:11That does not exist.
04:13That is what I have instructed
04:15so that we do not give too little notice to the public.
04:22So the public does not need to worry.
04:25MyJPJ can continue to be accessed easily and quickly.
04:29The integration will be carried out more easily.
