Pollo arrosto day, Nonna Margherita: "Ai miei tempi non c’era matrimonio senza pollo arrosto"

(Adnkronos) - “Da ragazzina, a Palombara, non c’era matrimonio senza pollo arrosto. Tutt’ora il pollo è festa”. Lo ha detto la star dei social, Nonna Margherita, intervistata in vista del Pollo Arrosto Day 2024, la maratona social organizzata dall’associazione nazionale dei produttori di carni bianche Unaitalia, giunta all’ottava edizione. Il tema dell’edizione di quest’anno è “Prenota una nonna!” e nonna Margherita insegnerà a chi lo desidera, come fare il pollo come ‘nonna comanda’.

00:00Finally, today is the Pollo Rosso Day, a memory of mine of the chicken, when I was a little girl in Palombarra they used to make it for weddings,

00:13a quarter of a head, they used to cook it in the big pots of the pizzerias and then they used to pass it through for the weddings,

00:19that was essential, otherwise there was no wedding if there was no chicken.

00:24It's all here, beautiful memories from when I was a little girl.

00:28I sent it to my daughters, to my nieces, and every Sunday, almost every Sunday, we make the Pollo Rosso,
