The steps of Old Marylebone Town Hall were covered with confetti on Tuesday as 100 couples tied the knot in a mass celebration to mark 100 years of the iconic venue. The town hall, which has been the site of scores of celebrity weddings including Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Ringo Starr, and Liam Gallagher, charged the couples just £100 for participating in the event. 00:00It was stunning. I mean, the old Marlborough and Town Halls are an amazing venue to get

00:21married at anyway, but in particular today, like the co-ordination and just walking through

00:25it, it's got a different feel to it when you're getting married there. It really has.

00:29Well, my parents actually got married here in the 80s, so they heard about it through

00:34a friend that they were doing this and we were engaged and we just thought, let's go

00:37for it. And so it's a bit, yeah.

00:38Just amazing just to be part of history, you know, 100 years and such, you know, beautiful

00:43historic building, you know, it's just, yeah, we couldn't pass up the opportunity really.
