00:04passed away at the age of 88. A spokesperson for the star stated that he

00:08died peacefully at his home in Maui on Saturday, September 28, surrounded by

00:14family. Christopherson appeared alongside Barbara Streisand in the 1976

00:20remake of A Star is Born, for which he won a Golden Globe for his performance

00:25in a musical comedy. Moreover, Christopherson also received a

00:29Grammy Award for his hit song, Help Me Make It Through the Night, and was

00:32inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2004.
